The International Decorative Artisans League was founded in 1984, when a small group of artisans and manufacturers came together to share their love of stenciling. Since then the group has expanded to include decorative painters and artists from all over the globe.
IDAL has a proud history and a brilliant future. Each member brings a new perspective to our organization. IDAL's not-for-profit status confirms our mission to preserve and protect the history of stencil arts. Our members also believe in fostering and supporting innovations in products, tools and techniques.
The Cascade Artisans Guild, was formed in 2006. Our mission it to uphold our parent organizations philosophy. To cultivate education, information, professionalism, personal connection and the passion for decorative painting.
IDAL Mission Statement:
International Decorative Artisans League (IDAL), is an international association of artisans, businesses and educatiors that provides inspiration, public awareness and member growth through education, philanthropy and preservation of the decorative arts.
